Your family's data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) on established, professionally-operated cloud infrastructure, with connections encrypted in transit (TLS) and data encrypted at rest. Encrypted backups are kept on separate EU-jurisdiction object storage.
Your family's data is never analysed for advertising, never sold, and never shared with third parties for their own purposes. There are no ads in Daphi.
When you use the assistant, the information needed to answer your request is processed by our AI provider, Anthropic PBC (the Claude API), solely to generate the response, under commercial terms and a data-processing agreement that contractually prohibit using your data to train AI models; this processing may take place outside the EU under contractual data-protection safeguards.
If your family connects a Google Calendar, Daphi reads events with the read-only scope you grant and displays them alongside your family's own entries. The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Calendar data is used only to provide the features you see (calendar display, clash alerts, the family assistant). It is never sold, never used for advertising, never aggregated across families, and never used to create, train, or improve AI/ML models — by us or by any provider we use. When the assistant processes a request that involves calendar information, it is handled by Anthropic PBC solely to generate the response, under commercial terms that contractually prohibit training on this data. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings, which stops the sync; synced copies are removed with your space on deletion.
Transactional emails (welcome, password reset) are delivered via an EU-based email service. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
We rely on a small number of vetted infrastructure providers (subprocessors), each bound by a data-processing agreement. A current list is available on request at feedback@daphi.ai.
We use only functional cookies and browser storage: keeping you logged in and remembering preferences (such as language). No tracking or advertising cookies.
Daphi accounts are created and managed by parents/guardians. Information about children exists only as content entered by their own family.
If this policy changes materially, we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
